TheDailyGlobe uses AI tools as part of its editorial workflow. These tools help our small team work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.

However, AI does not independently publish articles.

The distinction matters: AI is a tool in our workflow, not a decision-maker. Human editorial judgment governs what gets published and whether it meets our standards.

Sourcing

Sourcing and Verification

We prefer primary sources when available. TheDailyGlobe relies on official statements, public records, court filings, government documents, institutional reports, reputable news organizations, and reviewed background materials.

Claims, allegations, and opinions are attributed clearly. Readers should always be able to tell the difference between a confirmed fact, a reported allegation, and an expressed opinion.

Unconfirmed information is labeled clearly or held back until it can be verified. We do not publish rumors as news.

Fairness

Bias and Balance

TheDailyGlobe avoids cable-news framing, outrage language, and partisan wording. We do not write to stir outrage or tell any political side only what it wants to hear.

Balance does not mean false balance. When facts are clear and well-established, we say so. We do not manufacture artificial controversy by treating fringe positions as equivalent to scientific or legal consensus.

When serious, legitimate disagreement exists — on policy questions, contested interpretations, or genuinely disputed facts — we explain the competing views clearly and fairly, without taking sides.

Accountability

Corrections Policy

TheDailyGlobe takes accuracy seriously. If an article contains an error, we will correct it. Material corrections — those that change the meaning or substance of a story — are noted clearly within the article itself.

Minor corrections such as spelling or formatting fixes may be made silently. Significant factual corrections will include a note explaining what was changed and why.

Readers who believe they have found an error are encouraged to contact us. We review all correction requests.
